Piece of pub paradise

26 Jun

A beautiful C17th pub on the banks of the river dee.

The teeny tiny parish church next door

The idyllic view

We went to look at this place because there was chance we might be able to take it on. In the end, it was not to be, but it’s cemented a charming ideal in my mind of what we should strive for later in our lives, when we have real £££’s to invest in it and the desire to work exceptionally hard for a few years and follow it up with a beautiful little family to run around the grounds.

Not yet, though.
